About Pictures of Coventry

Welcome to the Coventry History Centre Photographic Record 'Pictures of Coventry' website. House of Images manages this project on behalf Coventry City Council. 'Pictures of Coventry' aims to conserve and make publicly accessible the photographic heritage of Coventry, thus enabling people to see the richness and diversity of the area's photographic collections.

Many images in the collection are irreplaceable - digitising protects the originals from wear and tear and enables users all over the world to view the collection via the Internet.

Images on this web site may be downloaded for personal use only and photographic quality prints, sized at either 6" x 4" or 10" x 8" (approximately) may be ordered on-line.

Some of the images in the collection have few details and we welcome any further information that you have - please use the form provided (click here). We would also be interested to hear about any images you may have that you think suitable for inclusion on the site.
