Using the Pictures of Coventry database

You must accept the terms and conditions of use on the 'Search the Images' page to gain access to the collection. Once you have clicked 'Accept' you will be taken to the main search page where you’ll find the options described below to help you find the images you want.

Searching Coventry's history:
Keyword Search - enter a keyword (or keywords) to direct your search, there is also the option to narrow this search by Alphabetic keypad.

Results of searches:
The results of your search will be displayed with 8 'thumbnail images' per page, use the 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons to move back and forth through the pages.

Viewing & Printing the Images of Coventry:
Clicking on a thumbnail image will bring up a larger version together with all the information about that image. To enlarge the image still further click on 'Zoom' - you now also have the option to print a low-resolution copy for personal use only from this page.

Purchasing Images of Coventry:
High quality glossy photographic prints can be ordered by adding images to a 'shopping basket'. Browse through the images and, on those that you're interested in purchasing, select the quantity and size of print that you want to order then click 'Add to basket' (you can always remove them from the basket later on).

Confirming your Order:
Once you have finished browsing and adding images to your basket click the 'View basket' button to see what you're about to order. You can change the number you would like to buy at this point (you can also remove images you don't want to buy by making the number required = 0). Click the 'Go to Checkout' button.

Ordering & Paying:
Select the Country that you want the images delivered to and enter your Postcode/Zip code. Click 'Proceed'. This shows you a breakdown of what you are ordering and a total amount together with postage & packing.
You now have the option of either ordering securely on-line using your credit or debit card or printing the order out and posting it to us with a cheque for the full amount (cheque's should be made payable to House of Images LTD).

All photographs are dispatched via recorded delivery and all prices include VAT at the current rate.
